The sepulcher’s fare

The hours gone by,
The ewers passed…
Each fleeting crow
Brings me closer,
Throws me deeper.

The grave digger prevails,
For no dark veils
Shall go unturned.
For no deep shadows
Shall stay at peace.

My hour is near,
Sing me, my love.
Hold these frail bones,
Before time surges me further,
Before I forget
The cove of your arms.

MATCH POINT IN THE DARK

The apple is turning green,
The farms are growing like mushrooms,
And all things are made to be eaten.
Your sister had five kids and your car
Is having a new paint coat.
Burgers outside on the terrace,
And beer. Hunting with buddies for fun.
The house is full of perfumes and the dinner
Will bring stray dogs to feed on the leftovers.
You buy a new car. You buy a new house.
You have an office. You want to be slim.
And wash your body with palm-oil creams.
Your crazy neighbor is a stupid vegan,
Your crazy brother went in the army again,
Your crazy mother got a rash from eastern medicines.
-------------------------
But all is ok.
By the time your kids will have kids,
There will be nothing left of this Earth,
So we can all die in peace.
